Ciao everyone,

These are the pictures of the volunteer work camp in southern Italy (a town called Altamura). The program was great and I will have many stories to follow. Sorry for the lack of blog entries, but I'm having some technnical issues with the blog....should have it worked out soon. Also, it is expensive to use the internet here (I have made a friend who has high-speed internet, so I should be showing some entries soon).

I also took a spontaneous trip to Venice and Florence with two friends, so I have been away from my computer. I'm back in Rome now and having a great time--traveling, sightseeing, making friends, and learning the language.

This album also includes pics of Matera (where the movie The Passion of The Christ was filmed) and Bari (which has the church of St. Nickolas...as in Father Christmas). Sorry for all of the old buildings and people you don't know, but it will give you an idea of what I've been doing.
